The final event of the Road2CPS will be held next Monday, January 30, in Brussels!
This SmartCPS Concertation event is organised by the coordination actions Road2CPS, TAMS4CPS, and sCorPiuS
The event will bring together the Cyber-Physical Systems, embedded intelligent systems and advanced computing communities across Europe and is set to reinforce exchange and strengthen the links between the Horizon2020 CPS projects, Artemis-IA, HIPEAC and the larger CPS community
It’s our pleasure to announce you the publication of the Road2CPS EBook. You can find it in the section Resources where you can download it!!!
We are pleased to announce the EU Smart Cyber-Physical Systems Concertation Event on 30th of January at the Bedford Hotel and Congress Centre, Brussels. It is organized by the coordination actions Road2CPS, TAMS4CPS and sCorPiuS. Please book this event in your calendars. More information will follow soon.
The event will bring together the Cyber-Physical Systems, embedded intelligent systems and advanced computing communities across Europe and is set to reinforce exchange and strengthen the links between the Horizon2020 CPS projects, Artemis-IA, HIPEAC and the larger CPS community. The event will be a follow-up of the Smart-Cyber-Physical Systems Clustering and Communication Event held in Vienna on 14th of April 2016 and will gather 15 ICT-1 projects funded under Horizon2020-ICT-1 2014 and 5 new Horizon2020 ICT-1-2016 projects. The findings of the Road2CPS, TAMS4CPS and sCorPiuS projects in the context of a CPS roadmap and collaboration agenda will be put to discussion with the community.
Road2CPS will present the final Technology and Application Roadmap, which identifies and describes the relevant underlying technology fields and related research priorities to fuel the development of trustworthy CPS, as well as the specific technologies, needs and barriers for a successful implementation in different application domains.
TAMS4CPS fosters strategic EU-US collaboration on modelling and simulation for CPS. The consortium will present the Strategic Research and Collaboration Agenda, which has been commonly compiled together with US stakeholders and is supposed to lay the foundation for collaborative activities.
sCorPiuS will present the final Research Roadmap, which identifies and describes the research priorities and issues strategic and technology recommendations for adoption of CPS in Manufacturing, maximizing impact on Large and Small-Medium enterprises.
The final agenda and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. The event is organized back-to-back with the ARTEMIS-IA Brokerage Event, which will take place in the same premises on 31st of January and 1st February 2017.
We will be delighted to see you there!
The Road2CPS Consortium is pleased to invite you to the Road2CPS Strategy Roadmap Workshop, which is set to discuss visions and priorities of recently produced roadmaps in the area of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) draw recommendations for future research and innovation activities and elaborate strategies (and timelines) for their implementation.
The workshop will gather CPS-experts from industry, academia and policy-making, which will elaborate on specific CPS-themes, detail priority topics and strategies for implementation. Above others, experts presenting results and perspectives from various roadmaps, industry and SME representatives giving strategic recommendations and as well as representatives from the European Commission, will be present.
The Workshop will be held on the 15th November in Brussels

ARTEMIS Industry Association organises the ARTEMIS Technology Conference (ATC), which will take place 4-6 October 2016 in Madrid, Spain. On 5-6 October, this event has – as the name indicates – a focus on deep technological presentations, both on project achievements and state-of-the-art technology, while on 4 October (starting at 12:00 hrs) and 5 October, a Pre-Brokerage for H2020 calls for projects in the area of Embedded Intelligence will take place.
This 2nd edition of the ATC again contains a collection of parallel technical sessions on 5-6 October, built around the following themes:
1. Smart Cities
2. Smart Energy
3. Interoperability in CPS and IoT
4. Future CPS industrial research challenges
As the ATC takes place early October, its timing fits perfectly into the preparation period of project proposals for the related H2020 calls, including the ECSEL calls. Therefore, ARTEMIS-IA has organised a Pre-Brokerage at this event on 4-5 October, including project idea exhibition, in which consortia from communities that face Embedded Intelligence (Embedded & Cyber-Physical Systems, Internet of Things, Digital Platforms) related challenges will present their ideas for new projects. If you would like to present a project idea, please use the Project Idea Tool.
Registration for the event is now open. Make use of the opportunity to discuss Embedded Intelligence related technological innovations and challenges, shake hands with key players in industry, R&I and knowledge centres, get first-hand information about new H2020 project ideas and even join these project consortia. In short: do not miss out on this important event and register today!
More information about the event, programme and hotel can be found on the ARTEMIS Technology Conference webpage.
Visionary CPS Scenario Roadmapping Workshop will be held in Stuttgart on the 7th June. Participation is free after registering!!!
Invitation to participate in the latest EU workshops of the TAMS4CPS project on TransAtlantic Modelling and Simulation for Cyber-Physical Systems (www.tams4cps.eu), to be held June 16th – 17th 2016 at Kongsberg, Norway.
We proudly announce the official release of the ARTEMIS Strategic Research Agenda 2016. The agenda has been successfully launched by Heinrich Daembkes (President ARTEMIS-IA) & Laila Gide (Vice President ARTEMIS-IA) in Vienna.
The book was officially handed over to Ben Ruck (Head Public Authorities Board ECSEL), Michael Wiesmüller (PA Austria) & Dr. Max Lemke (Head of Unit, CONNECT-A3 European Commission).
